Program Assessment Specialist — ext. 312
Emily started working with RIAEYC and BrightStars as a Program Assessment Specialist in June 2019. She has a Bachelor’s degree from Salve Regina University in Psychology and Spanish, with a special interest in cognitive development and early childhood education. Emily comes to us with several years’ experience as Lead Teacher in an Infant classroom, where she became familiar with the ITERS-R tool. She also completed Level II of the RI Early Learning and Development Standards (RIELDS) to improve her skills in curriculum development, child assessment, and family communication. She is thrilled to now be a member of the RIAEYC/BrightStars team, as well as an advocate for early childhood education.
