Program Assessment Specialist — ext. 315

Mayra Monterroso, Program Assessment Specialist, has worked in family child care,  as a teaching assistant at the University of Rhode Island Child Development Center, and as a nursing assistant with the elderly. Mayra was also a RIAEYC/BrightStars intern before assuming her current position. Mayra has attained author-level reliability in the Early Childhood Environment Rating Scale (ECERS) and the Family Child Care Environment Rating Scale (FCCERS).

Mayra holds a bachelor’s degree in Human Development and Family Studies with a focus on child care settings and a minor in Psychology from the University of Rhode Island, as well as a CNA certificate.
