BrightStars Navigators Roll Out New Annual Report Process

Since BrightStars began in 2009, programs have been asked to submit Annual Reports to their BrightStars Navigator in order to update us on your licensing status and Quality Improvement Plan (QIP) goals. This year, the team decided to rework this process to make it more meaningful, to build relationships with more programs, and help program improve their quality in a more effective way.
In lieu of submitting paper documentation to update BrightStars on your progress, appointments will be scheduled for either a phone conference or in person appointment with your BrightStars Navigator. For another added bonus, no more paper photocopies need to be brought back with us. Be prepared to present your copies to us, but we’re keeping it green in 2019!
We hope this change gives the Early Childhood Initiatives team the opportunity to connect with programs on a personal level, all the while minimizing the amount of paperwork it takes to maintain your rating! Expect a contact from your assigned Navigator when it’s your time to report. In the meantime, feel free to contact us with questions.
